How to Test SSD - Check SSD Speed

To Test as well as Test the speed of the SSD, you need to install an additional software that is used by many people today. It is the software: CrystalDiskMark.

Step 1: You access the link, click " Download free ".

Step 2: A Microsoft Store window appears, click " Install ".

Step 3: After the software has been installed, click " Launch " on the Microsoft window.

Step 4: At the interface of the software:

- Click on the SSD drive (1) .

- Then click " ALL " (2) .

The software will then perform a read and write test of your SSD drive.

The parameters of the software display such as:

Seq Q32T1: The data is read sequentially and sequentially to the vicinity of the drive with 32 rows (Queues) and 1 thread (Threads) of data. This test mode will give the fastest speed.

4KiB Q8T8: The data is randomly read and written on the data area. Queues = 8, Threads = 8.
