This guide also erases facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and security keys. Since you cannot delete a password, this article also explains how to delete an account from a Windows 10 computer. You can always create another account without the relevant password.
Delete PIN, face recognition or fingerprint
Click the Windows button, then select the gear icon on the left edge of the Start menu to open the Settings app.
Click Accounts in the next window.
By default, the Account section will open Your Info . Click Sign-In Options on the menu followed by Windows Hello PIN listed on the right. This item expands to appear Remove button. Click on it.
Windows 10 will display a warning, click the Remove button again to identify.
This step erases facial recognition and fingerprints in much the same way as clearing a PIN. Just choose Window Hello Face or Windows Hello Finger and then follow the deletion steps above.
Delete security key
Click the Windows button, then the gear icon on the left of the Start menu to open the Settings app. Click Accounts in the next window.
The Accounts section opens Your Info by default. Click Sign-In Options on the menu, then Security Key is listed on the right. When you expand this item, you will see the Manage button, click on it.
Enter your security key into the open USB port when prompted and touch the key's flashing icon. When Windows 10 verifies the key, click the Reset button > Close .
Delete account (Administrator)
If you're going to delete the only account from your computer, you can't do that. You need to create a local user account, set it up as an administrator, log in to that account, and then delete that account. Also you can reset the computer.

Open the Settings app, click Accounts in the next window.
The Accounts section will open Your Info by default. Click Family & Other Users on the menu, then select the + button next to Add Someone Else to This PC in Other Users on the right.
Click the I Don't Have This Person's Sign-In Information link in the next window.
Click the Add a User without a Microsoft Account option .
Enter your username, password (twice), set up three security questions and then click the Next button.
You can create an account without a password, but this account will be used as an administrator account, so not setting a password is a bad idea unless you intend to sell or give away the device. count for someone else to use. Even so, a full reset is a better option.
When done, you'll see the new local account listed under Other Users . Select a new account and click the Change Account Type button.
In the Change Account Type box that pops up, select Administrator in the drop-down menu and click the OK button.

Open the Settings application. Click Account in the next window.
Click on Family & Other Users , select the account listed on the left under Other Users to expand the account. Click on the Remove button.
