Firefox tested for custom tab colors and showed 2 tabs in 1

Mozilla Firefox is testing two new features, allowing users to customize their browser and view tabs at the same time very easily.

Mozilla Firefox is testing two new features, allowing users to customize their browser and view tabs at the same time very easily.

The first tool is Firefox Color, which allows you to change the background, text, icons and toolbar. These changes can be saved and shared with others. Firefox also has theme-based palettes if you don't want to choose each color yourself.

The second feature is SIde View, which functions exactly as the name suggests: allowing you to view 2 browser tabs at the same time on the same tab and window. When you do not have this feature, you can put two windows side by side or use the second screen to view more pages at the same time. With Side View, using 1 screen will be more convenient.

Firefox suggests users can use Side View to compare news, buy online. This feature also remembers near-line comparisons and opens when needed.

Both of these features are being tested through Firefox's Test Pilot program, which you can download for free. This is where new features are tested before being uploaded to the browser, so it is not sure if Firefox Color and Side View will be put on the final product.
