How to Fix Mouse Rotation and Mouse Lock in PUBG Mobile on GameLoop

If the mouse in PUBG Mobile VNG can look up and down but cannot rotate fully in GameLoop, first toggle mouse capture, reset the key mapping, and switch to a supported 16:9 or 16:10 resolution. Reinstalling the emulator is a last resort. Tencent Gaming Buddy, named in the old guide, is now called GameLoop.

1. Toggle mouse capture

Click inside the game window, then press the mouse-lock key shown by GameLoop—commonly Ctrl. The cursor should disappear when the game captures it and return when capture is released. If nothing changes:

• Press Alt+Tab to another window, return to GameLoop, and click the game once.
• Switch between windowed and full-screen mode.
• Close overlays that may capture the pointer, including screen recorders or chat overlays, then test again.

2. Reset the GameLoop key mapping

Open the keyboard or key-mapping panel from GameLoop's side toolbar. Select the default or reset option for PUBG Mobile, save it, and restart the game. A corrupted or mismatched smart-keymap can prevent the camera control from capturing the mouse correctly.

If PUBG Mobile was installed from an external APK, remove that game installation from the emulator and reinstall it through GameLoop's Game Center. GameLoop's own key-mapping guidance says externally installed games may be missing the files required for Smart keymapping.

3. Use a supported emulator resolution

Open GameLoop Settings > Engine and select a 16:9 or 16:10 resolution. GameLoop specifically lists those aspect ratios for PUBG Mobile. Save the setting, restart the emulator, and reset key mapping again if the controls are offset.

Also confirm that Windows display scaling is not changing while the game is running. If you use multiple monitors with different scaling, test the game on the primary display.

4. Update GameLoop and PUBG Mobile

Install pending emulator and game updates, then reboot Windows. A GameLoop keymap built for a different PUBG Mobile version may not align with the current interface. Download the emulator only from the official GameLoop PUBG Mobile page.

Do not download old Tencent Gaming Buddy executables or unofficial “mouse fix” tools. They may be incompatible with the current engine and can introduce account or security risks.

5. Repair or reinstall only if the controls still fail

Use GameLoop's repair function first if it is available in the client. Before a reinstall, verify that the PUBG Mobile account is bound to a login method you control. Guest data may not be recoverable after the emulator is removed.

The screenshots below show the older Windows uninstall flow. The labels are still recognizable, although Windows 11 users can also open Settings > Apps > Installed apps.

In Control Panel, open Programs and Features.

Select Tencent Gaming Buddy or GameLoop and choose Uninstall/Change.

Confirm the uninstall. Do not manually delete unrelated folders or registry entries.

Restart Windows, download the current installer from GameLoop's official site, and install PUBG Mobile from Game Center. Avoid restoring an old key-mapping file until the default controls have been tested.

6. Test in Training Grounds

Enter Training Grounds before starting a competitive match. Check these actions separately:

• Full horizontal and vertical camera movement
• Aim-down-sights sensitivity
• Mouse capture and release
• Fire, crouch, prone, reload, and inventory shortcuts
• Correct on-screen position of every mapped control

If camera movement works in the lobby but fails only in a match, reset the in-game control layout and GameLoop key mapping once more. If it fails in every GameLoop game, update the mouse driver and test another USB port or mouse to separate an emulator problem from a hardware problem.

Safe troubleshooting order

1. Toggle mouse capture and window mode.
2. Reset and save the default key mapping.
3. Use a supported 16:9 or 16:10 resolution.
4. Update GameLoop and PUBG Mobile.
5. Install the game through Game Center.
6. Repair, then reinstall only if necessary.
