Villa, Castle, Goroka, Cement Factory, Podvosto, and Volnova were among the most contested drops on Vikendi's classic PUBG Mobile layout. They attract early fights because they combine recognizable landmarks, concentrated loot routes, and convenient rotations. Traffic still depends on the flight path, and later map revisions may move or remove older locations, so confirm every name on the live map before jumping.
How to survive a Vikendi hot drop
- Mark one building and a nearby fallback before leaving the plane.
- Watch parachutes, then announce how many teams land on each side.
- Take the first usable weapon and armor instead of searching for an ideal loadout.
- Fight from one cleared building outward; do not chase through an unknown compound.
- Leave with healing, ammunition, and a rotation plan before the zone forces you into the open.
Players who prefer a quieter start should use the companion guide to classic Vikendi landing locations and choose a site away from the current flight path.
1. Villa: fast central fights

Villa's compact central compound made it easy to reach from many flight paths. That convenience also produced immediate fights with little time to search for equipment.
Drop plan: land on a doorway or ground-level loot route rather than an exposed roof with no weapon. Clear one building with the squad, hold the exits, and listen for teams arriving from nearby compounds. If several opponents beat you to the weapons, disengage early instead of crossing the courtyard empty-handed.
2. Castle and Tovar: choke points and difficult exits

Castle's water and bridge approaches create predictable rotation routes. Tovar is smaller and can be cleared quickly, but a late arrival may find every useful item already taken.
Drop plan: count teams on both sides, secure a close-range weapon, and avoid crossing a bridge while visible from Castle. Keep smoke grenades for a blocked exit. A boat or vehicle is useful only if the squad reaches it before opponents establish an angle.
3. Goroka: layered urban terrain

Goroka's buildings rise above a frozen lake, producing vertical sight lines and multiple levels of cover. Players on the upper side can watch movement below, while buildings make footsteps hard to separate.
Drop plan: land with teammates on one elevation, clear adjacent rooms, and avoid standing on the lake without smoke or suppressing fire. When moving uphill, use walls and building interiors rather than the most direct street.
4. Cement Factory: vertical industrial combat

Cement Factory offers roofs, machinery, stairways, and open yards. High ground can be powerful, but climbing before securing the lower levels exposes the player to several angles.
Drop plan: select one side of the factory, obtain a weapon before climbing, and check stairwells after every gunfight. Use a DMR or scoped AR for long lanes, but keep an AR or SMG ready for interiors. Do not remain on a roof without cover and a second way down.
5. Podvosto: river crossings under observation

Podvosto's two sides are separated by an exposed channel in the classic layout. The frozen surface can shorten a crossing, but it offers little protection from windows and the opposite bank.
Drop plan: choose one side and clear it before crossing. Watch bridges and upper windows, then use smoke if the next zone forces movement through the center. A squad should cross together or provide cover; isolated players are easy to pin between both banks.
6. Volnova: dense streets and rooftop angles

Volnova's multi-story buildings, square, and narrow lanes create close-range fights with frequent third parties. Looting every room takes too long when multiple teams are nearby.
Drop plan: control one building, identify shots before changing streets, and check balconies and roofs. Use grenades to clear a known room rather than walking into a held stairway. Move through interiors when possible and avoid looting a crate in an open square.
What makes a location “hot”
A named place is not automatically dangerous in every match. The strongest predictors are distance from the plane, event objectives, ranked behavior, and how many nearby compounds offer fallback loot. A normally busy site can be empty when the flight path is far away, while an unnamed roadside compound can become crowded when it sits directly below the plane.
If you play on PC through GameLoop, verify controls before entering a hot drop; the guide to fixing GameLoop mouse rotation covers key mapping and mouse capture. Whatever the platform, the safest hot-drop rule is to land together, take the first viable equipment, and convert one cleared structure into a base for the next move.
