How to disable Containers feature on Firefox browser?
Containers are one of the new features that are integrated and introduced on the Firefox 50 Nightly build beta. This is a feature that allows users to log in to multiple Facebook or Google accounts at once on a single browser. .
This means that users can easily switch between two or more different Facebook accounts, without having to log out and log back on.
Just select New Container Tab to open a new tab, then log in to another account and you're done. These Container Tab options include Work, Personal, Banking and Shopping.
Currently, Mozilla has approved the download of a trial version of Firefox 50. You can download a trial version of Firefox 50 to your computer and install it here.
It can be said that containers are one of the extremely useful features in Firefox browser. Suppose in case if you don't want to use the Containers feature on Firefox browser anymore, you can disable this feature. To disable the Containers feature, follow the steps below:
1. Open a new tab on your Firefox browser, then enter about: config in the address bar.
At this time, a window will appear warning you.
2. Enter privacy.userContext.enabled into the Filter box.
3. Now on the screen you will see the privacy.userContext.enabled option, your task is to set this option to False .
4. Finally restart your Firefox browser.
From now on the Container feature on your Firefox browser has been disabled. Suppose in case if you want to re-enable this feature to use it, perform the same steps and set the privacy.userContext.enabled option to True to finish.
