How to create application icon on iPhone / iPad without jailbreak

Usually to change the default settings on iPhone / iPad users are forced to conduct jailbreaking devices, such as changing the application icon. However, recently a Vietnamese development team has launched the online micon.io website to support creating app icons with any selected image, but we do not need to jailbreak the device.

With micon.io, users can choose any personal image on the device, then create their own icon for the application. Besides, we can also assign a new name to the application, add a lot of utilities such as calling or texting for a fixed number, open the application, open the website, open the deeplink. How to create app icon on iPhone / iPad with micon.io is very simple, will be introduced by Network Administrator in the article below.

Note to users , micon.io can create icons for applications on iOS or Android devices. With Android, we do it on Google Chrome browser. The following article will apply on iPhone / iPad.

Step 1:

First of all, we will access micon.io on Safari browser . In the main interface, you will see micon.io instructions on how to do with extremely basic steps.

Finally, click the Add button above to add the device interface. So we have created an application with a completely new icon already. The mechanism of creating micon.io icon is that it will create more icons for the application, but not replace it for that application. That means we will see an application with 2 icons, as shown below.

Overall, micon.io is quite simple and the number of applications to assign new icons is limited. Also, in case you assign the icon to the website, you can only view and manipulate it on that site only. We can't open more tabs like we do on normal browsers. Hopefully in the future, micon.io will expand the option of assigning icons to certain applications on the device.

I wish you all success!
