Note: If each time you change the Theme or modify the interface on the computer, this value will default to 0 . You need to redo this step to convert it into 1 .
After editing the Registry , we continue to install in the Local Group Policy Editor by the following:
Step 1: Click on Start and type " gpedit.msc " and then press Enter to open.
Step 2: In the Local Group Policy Editor window , you proceed to access the following folders:
Computer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesSystemLogon
At this point, you will see a file named: " Always use custom login background ", double click to edit.
Step 4: In the file Always use custom login background , you proceed to select Enabled and click OK to save.
So we have finished the custom part on the system, followed by the step of adding images to the folder so that the system recognizes it as a lock screen image.
Step 1: Access the following path: C: WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds
By default, the oobe folder will not have 2 subdirectories info and backgrounds. You have to proceed to these two subfolders by:
Right click → New Folder and rename to info .
In the info subfolder you create more backgrounds folder as above.
Step 2: Then you proceed to add the image you want as a lock screen to the backgrounds folder (Path: C: WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds )
Then proceed to rename the image to: " backgroundDefault.jpg ".
Note:
* Photos in JPG format.
* Size no larger than 256KB.
Then you press Windows + L to lock the screen and enjoy.
