How to add a step counter to your iPhone home screen.
Apple provides the Health app to track basic health metrics. The app includes distance walked, number of steps, calories burned, sleep schedule, etc. However, you can't track your step count directly on your iPhone screen. Step 1:
You can download the Pedometer++ app for iPhone using the link below.
- Download the Pedometer++ app for iPhone.
You will then be asked if you allow the app to access your Physical Movement activity ; tap Allow to proceed. You will then see the app interface as shown below; tap Settings to adjust the settings.
Step 2:
We'll set your daily step count , and you can change the unit of measurement if you wish .
Step 3:
Press and hold the Pedometer app icon on the home screen, then select the widget size you want to add to the home screen. This will automatically replace the app icon with the selected widget size, as shown below.
You will now see the number of steps you have taken on your iPhone's home screen.
Step 4:
If you want to keep both the app icon and the widget , press and hold the app icon , select Edit Home Screen . Then select the Edit button and then Add Widget .
Step 5:
Now, find the Pedometer app and select the type of widget you want to add to your iPhone's home screen.
