With Canva integrated directly into Gemini, users can easily create or edit designs such as promotional images, social media posts, banners, posters, or educational materials using simple commands. In this article, you will be guided through the detailed steps of editing images using Canva directly within Gemini.
Please note that to use this feature, you must switch Gemini to English .
We access our Google account and then click on the Personal Information section on the left side of the interface.
Look at the content next to it and click on the Language option to adjust it.
In the language settings interface, we click on the pen icon next to the current language to change it to English.
Search for English and then tap to change the language on Google.
How to edit photos using Canva on Gemini
Step 1:
Access Gemini and then click on Personal Intelligence to adjust your settings.
On the new interface, users select the "Connected Apps" option to adjust the applications that connect with Gemini.
Step 2:
In the application interface, click on the Canva application .
A message will appear prompting you to click Allow to agree to Gemini's Canva access of your information.
Press Continue to proceed.
Click Agree and continue to confirm the action.
Step 3:
Now you need to log in to your Canva account to continue.
You will need to allow Canva AI Connector to perform certain permissions; click Allow to do so.
The result shows that Gemini has successfully connected with Canva .
Step 4:
Now you enter the image creation description in Gemini as usual.
Once you have the image, press @ and then select Canva from the displayed menu to use the application.
Enter @Canva edit picture to start editing this image in Canva.
Step 5:
A notification will appear on Gemini , along with a link to immediately transfer the image you need to edit to Canva. Click to access Canva .
Eventually, you will see the image editing interface on Canva.
