Get familiar with the completely new Paint application on Windows 10
Microsoft is building a completely new version of the Paint application that completely replaces the old Paint version on Windows 10. The new version will be the Universal application and is available on all Windows 10 devices, including Windows 10 Mobile.
About the Paint application
The Paint application is one of the oldest 'apps' built into the Windows operating system since the first version. By the Windows XP version, the Paint application has been 'improved' to add some features, which is the ability to save PNG images without installing any additional filters. On the Windows Vista version, Microsoft integrated the image cropping function and increased the number of Undo actions. On Windows 7, Paint is integrated with the Ribbon interface, more useful tools and many other features become familiar to users.
Although it is a fairly simple application, Paint has full functionality to become the "favorite" image editor for many Windows users.
Recently Microsoft will replace Paint with a completely new application, Universal Windows Platform application. Microsoft offers a wide range of drawing and drawing tools that allow artists to create objects and paint them directly in a 3D environment.
All of these tools are user-friendly, with an interface that combines 3D models, 2D images, stickers and community tools for 3D content.
This is not the first time we have seen evidence that Microsoft is building a new version of Paint for Windows 10.
