Method 2: Ensure the Windows Audio Services service starts
Step 1: Press Windows + R key then type msc and press Enter .
Step 2: Scroll down until Windows Audio Services is found and right-click and select Properties.
Step 3: Make sure the service is running by clicking Start and then setting Startup type to Automatic .
Step 4: Click Apply and OK .
Step 5: Follow the same steps for the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service.
Step 6: Close all programs and restart the computer to save changes.
Method 3: Update the audio driver
Step 1: Press Windows + R key and enter msc and press Enter to open Device Manager .
Step 2: Expand the Sound, video and game controllers section and right-click on Audio Device then select Enable (If enabled, skip this step).
If the audio device is turned on, right-click Audio Device and select Update Driver Software.
Step 3: Now select ' Search automatically for updated driver software ' and end the process.
Step 4: If you cannot update the graphics card, select Update Driver Software .
Step 5: This time select "Browse my computer for driver software" .
Step 6: Next, select " Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
Step 7: Select the appropriate driver from the list and click Next .
Step 8: Wait for the process to complete and restart the computer.
Step 9: If you can't find the appropriate driver, go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest driver.
Method 4: Remove Realtek High Definition Audio driver
Step 1: Press Windows + X key and select Control Panel .
Step 2: Click Uninstall a Program and then search for Realtek High Definition Audio Driver .
Step 3: Right click on it and select Uninstall .
Step 4: Restart the computer and open Device Manager .
Step 5: Click on Action then select " Scan for hardware changes".
