The upcoming Messenger Rooms feature will allow anyone who is sent a link to a group video call on Messenger to join. In particular, you can join a group call on Messenger Rooms without a Facebook account. When you click the link, you can join the call as a guest via a web browser like Chrome or Edge. 

Messenger Zooms allows up to 50 people to join the call. The person who initiated the call can decide to switch from a video meeting to a conversation at any time, as well as control the number of people attending the meeting, invite participants or ask others to leave the meeting, to prevent those an uninvited guest.

The Messenger Rooms feature is expected to be in beta version on Windows and Mac in the coming days. Facebook said the feature could be rolled out to users worldwide in a few weeks.
