Comparing the battery life of iPhone on iOS 11.3.1 and iOS 11.4, after upgrading the battery is wasted?

Apple recently officially released iOS 11.4 for users to download and update. Although iOS 11.4 has added many new features, bringing a better experience to users, many people have not yet released this new version because there is still a lot of battery life after updating.

To answer this question, iAppleBytes YouTube Channel conducted battery testing between iOS 11.3.1 and iOS 11.4 on iPhone lives from 5s to 8. The Plus versions were not selected because these versions already have quite good batteries .

All devices selected by iAppleBytes have fairly new batteries and do not enable performance stabilization.

First, all the machines are in iOS 11.3.1 and tested with the Battery Test program until the battery runs out. Next, they are updated all to iOS 11.4 and run again.

The results of the test showed that iOS 11.4 offers much better battery life than iOS 11.3.1. From iPhone 6 and above, the new iOS version provides up to nearly half an hour of usage.
