Which free S-rank character should you choose?
If you have pulled on the banner a total of 300 times, you will get to choose a free S rank character from the standard pool.
S rank characters are all very strong in their own ways. In addition, the roles of the characters are also less important than in similar games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.
To put it simply, you can put all 3 attacking characters in the same team without having to have 1 DPS, a healer and a buffer in your team. So you can prioritize high ranked characters rather than their role in the team.
While looking at a character's factions and elements can be useful for building squads and activating additional skills, ZZZ is an extremely action-heavy game – so it's important to you like the play style and skill sets of the characters you play!
If you're still on the fence and need a little more help deciding, we've rounded up all of ZZZ's best free S-rank characters that you can choose from, along with a summary of their content. of these characters for you to choose from.
Nekomata
Nekomata is an extremely fast and powerful physical damage dealer with one of the highest damage outputs in the game. Her playstyle revolves around constantly moving around the battlefield and attacking enemies from behind, so Nekomata is a great choice if you like a stealthy, fast assassin-like style of fighting.
Koleda
A support character with a stun skill wielding a fire hammer that specializes in stunning enemies and dealing burn damage. Koleda possesses a unique set of skills that allow her to "colab" with Ben the bear to unleash powerful coordinated attacks. If you usually favor a character that is tanky and deals slow but heavy damage, you should try Koleda.
Soldier 11
Warrior 11 will likely require the player's control skills, she is a fire type and you will have to determine the perfect timing of basic attacks to maximize the damage from Warrior 11's fire. Warrior 11's abilities can make many gamers "frustrated" at first, but you will quickly get used to CB11's skill set to defeat targets easily.
Lycaon
Lycaon focuses on stunning and freezing enemies with charged attack combos. You can also charge Lycaon's EX special skill and if used at the right time, you will save quite a bit of energy. This character is quite good at slowing down and weakening enemies with his freezing ability.
Grace
Another character for you if you like fast-paced ranged combat, Grace is the perfect choice. She is an electric damage anomaly, meaning her skillset focuses on imposing elemental debuffs and shocking enemies to weaken them.
Grace's attacks are launched mostly from her stun gun, but her secondary weapon is a grenade that creates a small electrical field on impact. Although she is capable of close-range melee combat, at a distance, Grace's skill set still allows you to move flexibly on the battlefield while still attacking and reloading.
Rina
Rina is another ranged hero that deals electrical damage. In theory, Rina seems similar to Grace but on the battlefield she is completely different. She is a support character that flies in the air instead of running, has very fast movement speed, and her dodges and dashes are very flexible and cover greater distances than any other character.
In terms of combat, Rina has the style of a mage as she casts and controls two puppets while also dealing electrical damage to enemies simply by swinging her arms. Her fast attacks and electric fields also deal widespread damage, making Rina very useful in AOE attacks.
