YouTube extends the ban on uploaded videos

YouTube will not have a 'place' for videos that imply others on gender, sexual orientation, and race.

Today (December 12) YouTube has issued a posting ban on videos with content that implies threats or insults on gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity towards other individuals on a sharing platform Share the world's largest video.

This move by YouTube aims to prevent speech and harassment of others online.

The ban applies to all YouTube users, from individuals to channel owners.

Matt Halprin, who is in charge of YouTube's global security and trust, said that YouTube will not have a 'place' for videos that imply insults others on gender, sexual orientation and race.

Earlier, YouTube also banned users from posting videos with specific threatening content on the platform. But with the new ban, even videos that contain only words that may incite violence or imply threatening others are banned.

The new YouTube policy is part of a commitment to ban videos that contain harassment and bullying on a site made in July.

In early November, in order to keep children's rights managers and organizations happy, YouTube also introduced a new policy to disable monetization of videos on behalf of children, promoting toys, using pictures of children .
