Outlook 2013 will have a free and full version for Windows RT 8.1.
Microsoft announced today Office software for Desktop environment that will be available on Windows RT 8.1. Previously, Windows-based machines were preinstalled with Office 2013 RT Home & Student but without Outlook email browser. The version with Windows RT 8.1 will be installed with the full 2013 Outlook suite.
Windows development finance director, Tami Reller, confirmed that the new Windows version will appear later this year.
Previously, Nvidia CEO Jen Hsun Huang greatly appreciated the Outlook idea for Windows RT. This can be considered as the strongest weapon to help this tablet form separate from the model running Android OS. However, unfortunately, the first version still has many shortcomings about the app store, which makes tablet running Windows RT not attract many users.
Windows RT 8.1 is another version of Windows 8.1 running on ARM processor platforms. The device will also have some changes like the x86-based version like a multi-size application box, running more than two applications on the touch interface at the same time.
