Windows 8 allows turning off the 'Do not track' feature on IE10

Users can choose to use or disable tracking blocking from advertising websites on Internet Explorer 10 when using Windows 8 for the first time.

Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 users can customize the " Do Not Track " (or DNT) feature on Internet Explorer 10 (or IE10) when running the operating system for the first time. This is in stark contrast to what it announced in May this year that the DNT feature will always turn on by default on IE10.

"Do Not Track" works to help users manage their online advertising websites. Currently, the five most popular browsers today are Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari all feature DNT.
