The mechanism is very simple. When you restart the phone, everything in RAM will be cleaned up. All leftover fragments of running applications are deleted, all running applications are closed. Simply said, when the phone reboot is when RAM is cleaned up.
As a result, the application will load faster, switching between applications is also faster. How long this will take depends on whether the OS manages memory well or not, and usually the speed improvements are not too much.
Not only does it speed up the OS, restarting the device also helps to overcome some common errors. For example, opening / closing an application that cannot be manipulated can be turned off and turned on again. When the application is turned off, a portion of them is still in RAM but after restarting, all will be wiped clean.
Of course this is not the universal way to overcome all problems, but with common errors, this simple action can be useful. If, after restarting, all problems are still in place or you have to turn it on and off several times a day, maybe your phone is having some more serious problems.
