2 ways to restart when the phone hangs
The restart will make the phone work more smoothly, this applies to all Android and iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch).
Usually, to reboot the phone, you just need to hold down the power button for a few seconds, then tap on the Reboot or Restart option. However, if the phone hangs or does not respond to the operation, what should I do?
When you encounter the above situation, you need to force the device to restart by holding the power button for 20-30 seconds until the screen turns off completely. Note, this will not affect your data.
If you are using Samsung devices, please press and hold the volume down key + power key for about 7 seconds.
For phones with removable batteries, you just need to remove the phone battery to reboot the device. This method is no longer suitable, but it is still useful for older phones.
If your iPhone or iPad hangs, does not respond to the operation, you need to force your iPhone to restart by pressing the volume up button and releasing, press the volume down and release button, then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
When done, you'll need to re-enter the passcode (because Face ID doesn't work after restarting the iPhone) to be able to continue using it.
Note, if other electronic devices such as desktops, laptops, e-readers . hang, just hold the power button still until the device turns off completely. Then press the power button again to reboot.
