Which Windows Phone? Microsoft is selling Android phones!

Now you can buy Samsung Galaxy S8 on any Microsoft store.

Microsoft has confirmed that although it is still pursuing 'Windows phones', it will not offer any new features for Windows 10 Mobile or any other device in the future. Mobile platforms seem to fall into hibernation without knowing the future.

In the past year, Microsoft has a new mobile strategy, not necessarily have a mobile operating system for itself but use the existing platform of competitors such as iOS and Android.

After launching many applications on these two platforms, Microsoft surprised many people at the beginning of the year, they started selling Samsung Galaxy S8 on their retail stores, as part of the cooperation plan with phone maker from Korea.

In return, Samsung launched a Microsoft-branded version of Galaxy S8, preinstalling many of their applications such as Skyoe or Office.

Today, Microsoft expressed its love for Android by starting to sell Galaxy S8 on the online store. Prices are similar to Samsung's and use Verizon or AT&T networks.

Phone preinstalled many Microsoft applications

Obviously Microsoft also advertised for the Galaxy S8, saying that it is the most affordable phone to experience their application on Android, listing it in the device list 'compatible with Microsoft Launcher application' (like Other Android devices are not (!)).

Although Microsoft switched to selling Android phones on both stores, it is understandable, Windows Phone users will consider this as a confirmation that they will no longer develop their own mobile platform.

Microsoft praised the Galaxy S8, saying that the screen is "absolutely awesome" and that you "can trust security" completely. This is also quite surprising when Microsoft also has competitors on its mobile platform. But overall, it is understandable, because they also want to sell.
