The application uses GPS to determine your location, then displays the UV radiation indicator for the position you are standing. You can also set the location manually if your phone does not have GPS or the phone is not located correctly. You can view ultraviolet radiation forecasts for the next day and even for different hours of the day. It also displays UV levels for the night. However in most parts of the world, there is no ultraviolet radiation at night.
One of the cool features of the app is My Skin. You can set the profile by selecting skin color, eye color and hair color. Then the application will tell you the level of ultraviolet radiation affecting you. The application even tells you the amount of SPF lotion you need to protect yourself from UV radiation.
