Despite being widely available, Tab 10 is aimed at the education market (as well as Apple's iPad tomorrow). Nor is it a coincidence that this tablet was announced today. Acer and Google have always tried to get ahead of Apple with tablets running Chrome OS focusing on education in the market they are leading.
Tab 10 will have some advantages compared to Apple's iPad tomorrow. Because it is more expensive, but because there is no pen, it is easy to use and carry. Despite the fact that none of these two products has a keyboard, many people will choose more traditional laptops.
Tab 10 is also capable of running Android applications.
Maybe students and teachers are ready to use Chrome OS because Google's operating system is currently dominating computer revenue in the case of low prices and maintenance tools through the cloud. At $ 329, Tab 10 is more or less expensive than other Chromebooks (usually costing less than $ 300) but if you're looking for something similar to the iPad, Acer has given them a choice.
The tablet will start selling in North America next month and sold globally in May.
