Acer launched the tablet running Chrome OS first

Just a day before Apple announced the new iPad for education, Google introduced the tablet using the Chrome OS operating system on the market.

Produced by Acer, this new tablet model targets students and students. Google said the Acer Chromebook Tab 10 is the "first-class educational tablet specifically made for Chrome OS. It comes with a Wacom EMR and Google Expeditions AR stylus."

The tablet has an 9.7-inch IPS QXGA touchscreen (2048 x 1536 pixels) with 264 pixels per inch. There is an HD webcam with 2MP resolution in the front with a dual microphone. On the back there is a 5MP camera. Acer claims the Chromebook Tab 10 has a maximum battery life of 9 hours.

The internal body consists of a 6-core processor OP1 (Rockchip) with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. For connectivity, customers are supported Wi-Fi MIMO 802.11ac 2x2, Bluetooth 4.1, 1st generation USB 3.1 Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD memory card reader.

The Chromebook Tab 10 costs around 329 USD and will be released starting from 4/2018.
