By mid-August, Internet Explorer 8's new update package (IE8) will be applied to Microsoft software, allowing users to accept or reject the default installation.
Currently, when installing IE8, users will see the option of ' express settings ', setting IE8 as default without asking users.
Microsoft has changed the way IE8 is set as the default browser during installation. This means that users can choose whether or not to want IE8 to be the default, not "required" as before.
For users who have set another browser as default, an option will appear when installing IE8. However, if you have previously set IE8 as the default, no window will appear.
