So far Internet Explorer 6 (IE) is still the world's most popular browser with a market share of up to 6.08%. This is a statistic based on web browser versions worldwide.
Statistics show that IE6 users are almost unabated
According to Softpedia, although it has been around for 11 years after its release, IE 6 continues to be one of the top choices of users.
Currently 6.08% of PC users worldwide continue to use this " ancient" browser version of Microsoft.
Internet Explorer 6 even has a higher market share than Chrome 29 ( 3.53% ), Safari 6 (3.45% ) and Opera 12 (1.25% ). However, Microsoft has always hoped to transfer all of these users to new versions of IE.
