Sony put the SSD into Vaio Z

The two new Z series models also own powerful graphics cards, Intel Core i7 chips and SSD hard drives. One of these two models has been introduced at the recent CES technology exhibition fair.

The two new Z series models also own powerful graphics cards, Intel Core i7 chips and SSD hard drives.

One of these two models has been introduced at the recent CES technology exhibition fair. Although only owning a 13.1 inch screen and weighing less than 1.5 kg (including battery), both new models own Intel Core i7 processor, RAM up to 4GB and 6GB, SSD solid-state hard drive and Nvidia GeForce GT 330M graphics card with VRAM DDR3 memory of 1GB.

Both machines are equipped with LED backlight screen, standard Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, HDMI port, webcam. The machines will be preinstalled with Windows 7 Professional operating system (64 bit).

These upgrades will be sold by Sony at the end of March in Europe for an undisclosed price.
