If users want to own powerful hardware in a compact machine, the Sony Vaio Z is definitely one of the best choices. It features a carbon fiber and aluminum shell, backlit keyboard (glowing in the night) and Intel Core i7 processor, 6GB RAM and 255GB SSD.

Vaio Z series has LED backlight screen only 13.1 inches wide but still meets Full HD standard (resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels). Sony's new model is also equipped with a powerful Nvidia GeForce GT 330M graphics card that makes it easy to handle many "heavy" games.

The discrete graphics and onboard conversion feature to save energy and increase the efficiency of previous Vaio Z series continues to appear in this upgraded version. These three modes are Speed (used when using heavy programs), Stamina (energy saving when using basic applications) and auto (the machine automatically selects to suit the mode in use).

The new version of Sony Vaio Z series will go on sale in March in Europe with an undisclosed price.
