The 11.6-inch screen version of Vaio Y line weighs 1.46 kg and the battery life is up to 6 hours according to the manufacturer.

After launching the Vaio Y ultraportable laptop last January with a 13.3-inch screen size, Sony continued to expand this series with a smaller, 11.6-inch screen model.
The Sony Vaio VPCYA19FJ / B model features an 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It uses low-voltage Intel Core i3-380UM processor at 1.33 GHz, 2GB or 8GB optional RAM, 320GB hard drive and Intel HD Graphics graphics chip.
The new Vaio Y also has connections like Wi-Fi standard, Bluetooth, webcam and Vaio software and pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits operating system.
The device has a weight of 1.46 kg, battery life according to the manufacturer is 6 hours continuously and is sold for about $ 1,375 in Japan market (approximately 28 million).
