Oukitel WP19, a smartphone with a 21,000mAh battery, can be used for a week on a single charge

Although some companies have released smartphones with 6,000 mAh or 7,000 mAh batteries, most smartphones still only have 5,000 mAh batteries that are capable of providing a day of normal use.

 

To demonstrate its superiority, the Chinese company Oukitel has launched a new smartphone model called WP19 with an extremely large battery capacity. Not 10,000mAh, not 15,000mAh but up to 21,000mAh.

With this "dinosaur" battery, WP19 can provide a week of use after a single charge. According to Oukitel's announcement, this phone can provide 122 hours of continuous phone talk time, 123 hours of continuous music playback, 36 hours of continuous video playback, and 2252 hours (94 days) of standby mode.

A small drawback of WP19 is that it takes up to 4 hours to fully charge the battery because it only supports 27W fast charging technology .

The WP19 is no ordinary smartphone. Oukitel designed this smartphone to be super durable, able to withstand harsh weather and strong impacts. The phone is certified IP68/IP69 for water and dust resistance and also MIL-STD-810G military certification for durability.

 

The Oukitel WP19 has a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by the low-cost MediaTek Helio G95 chip, has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will run Android 12 out of the box and can be upgraded to Android 13 in the future.

On the back of the device is a cluster of 3 cameras including a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 20MP Sony Night Vision IR infrared camera. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera.

Due to the large capacity battery, the appearance of the Oukitel WP19 cannot be slim. This smartphone looks very thick and can be very heavy. To avoid giving a bad impression, Oukitel decided not to announce the size and weight of the WP19.

Currently, Oukitel WP19 is being sold in China as well as abroad through e-commerce sites like AliExpress. Its price is 743 USD (equivalent to 17.2 million VND).
