New free malware scanning tool for Linux

Compared to Windows, Linux is considered a secure operating system, less vulnerable to attacks. But Kaspersky said there are still many cases of malicious code appearing on Linux, most recently the XZ Utils backdoor.

KVRT is a standalone scanner and not a real-time protection tool. To search for malware, it scans system memory, boot objects, boot sectors, and all files in the operating system. Infected files will be placed in quarantine for processing.
