Microsoft plans to release the next major update, Windows 10 Spring Creators Update Redstone 4 , last week. But the blue screen of death returned.

Microsoft targeted April 10 to release a new update, "blocking bug" errors that appeared at the last minute delayed their plans. They have now released a new Build to fix bugs and update them gradually via Windows Update.

'In some cases, this error could lead to a high chance of getting BSOD on the computer,' said Dona Sakar from Microsoft. 'Instead of updating it gradually with the Cumulative Update package, we created a new Build and fixed the bugs'. Microsoft did not disclose the exact blocking bug or why it was discovered at the last minute.

Microsoft builds a new Build for Windows updates

Microsoft has not officially named this update even though it has used Spring Creators Update several times. It seems that they will choose the name Windows 10 April 2018 Update (April 2018 Windows Update) as the name for Redstone 4. WalkingCat has discovered a video mentioning this name but because the release is blocked, it may be until May, so naming it is not appropriate.

This Windows 10 update will bring features like Timeline, HDR support, Fluent Design design. Microsoft is currently testing an update to Redstone 5 that will be available later this year. Expected is the ability to open the tab application. Hopefully more will be revealed at the Microsoft Build event next month.
