The IP address listed next to some of the default IP addresses assigned to DHCP in the above table is the default IP address, only if there is no DHCP device on the network or there is an IP assignment problem.

Please change your default NETGEAR password!
It's good when you log in to your NETGEAR router and switch to the default data. Because as you can see, all default information is public!
That means anyone can access your NETGEAR device anytime, make any changes they want, including installing some smart malware and more.
So the first thing on your to-do list is now to change the default password, making it a difficult thing to guess without anyone else knowing you.
What to do if NETGEAR's default password doesn't work?
The only action when the NETGEAR default password on your device is no longer the root password, is to reset your device to its original state.
On most NETGEAR routers, the original installation process is quite simple. Use a pen or paper clip to press and hold the red Restore Factory Settings button, found at the bottom of the router.
Do this when the router is powered on and hold it for 10 seconds or until the power light starts flashing.
When you release this button, your NETGEAR device will automatically restart. After the power light turns white or green, your device will be reset, returning to the default password listed above for your model.
If the process does not work, you should consult the PDF manual for your specific NETGEAR router, available from the NETGEAR Support page.
What to do if NETGEAR's default IP address doesn't work?
Restoring the original settings also resets the default IP address (you will find information for your model in the table above).
Another option is to try http://www.routerlogin.com or http://www.routerlogin.net, two addresses that only work on your NETGEAR internal network and devices. Router Orbi NETGEAR uses http://orbilogin.com or http://orbilogin.net.
If you still can't find a solution to the problem, try finding the default gateway IP address, showing you how to determine the default port for your router.
