Directory service : Managing user accounts in Kerio MailServer can use the resident database or outpatient directory services. Kerio MailServer integrates with Active Directory on Windows and Apple Open Directory on Mac OS X Server.

Scalability : Kerio MailServer can expand messaging servers to support 20 users anywhere, in small local networks, up to thousands of users operating with just one server. A server easily supports 500 users of IMAP at the same time with anti-spam and anti-virus filters without affecting its performance.

The Conversion Tool

Kerio provides Kerio IMAP Migration Tool (KIMT) to help customers transfer IMAP email servers to Kerio MailServer (Kerio email server). It is possible to install this converter on Windows, Linux or Mac computers and with just a few clicks, this tool will pull data from any IMAP compliant server and move them to Kerio MailServer.
