It is possible that humans tamed wild rabbits from ancient Mexican civilization

Currently the information is causing a stir among archaeologists.

Archaeologists have found evidence that rabbits breeding may soon appear in ancient Mexican civilization.

By archaeological isotope analysis , archaeologists from the University of California, San Diego found evidence of ancient people living in Teotihuacan - pre-Colombo city in Mexico, of Mexican civilization. I have known how to tame wild rabbits and raise them like domestic rabbits.

The research team analyzed carbon isotopes and oxygen concentrations in bone samples from 134 excavated rabbits at Teotihuacan, which showed that these rabbits have many similarities with the modern and very rare wild rabbit breeds. Maybe, ancient people living in Teotihuacan have tamed wild rabbits, bringing them back to feed with corn's main food.

These rabbits were bred by the Teotihuacan ancient people, then taken with fur and meat, rabbit bones were made as tools for daily life and work.

Clearly, the new archeology shows that the ancient community lived in the city of Teotihuacan - pre-Colombo in Mexico, the Mexican civilization is very different from other ancient and civilized communities in the world.

They do not raise or use large animals such as boar or buffalo and buffalo, but especially like breeding and using bones and meat of small, gentle animals like wild rabbits . In addition, the sign Traces of other livestock are not found in this city area.

This research has just been published in PLoS ONE.
