Archaeologists now continue to bring these ancient seeds back to the laboratory and will revive them through carbon cells , hoping to make new progress if the seeds revive.

If these seeds were roasted by fire by the ancient people before being stored in a ceramic box, it would be difficult to revive them.

Moreover, the 2800-year-old ancient seed was found at Cavustepe Castle in the 8th century BC built by the second King Sarduri. What is special is that this castle is located on the route of commercial traffic through Northwest Iran. Therefore, these seeds may be important evidences reflecting a local cultural circulation of the ancient people in the 8th century.
