Copilot is testing its text-to-speech feature, Copilot Audio Expressions, similar to Google AI Studio, allowing you to create audio files from your input. Specifically, Copilot's voice generation feature includes emotional nuances, intonation, and style, giving users plenty of options to suit their content needs. You can then use the audio file for lectures, voiceovers for Canva videos , and more. Below is a guide on converting text to speech using Copilot.

 

How to convert text to speech in Copilot

Step 1:

First, we need to access Copilot, then on the left side, click on the Labs section as shown in the image.

 

In the new interface, click on the Audio Expression Copilot tool to use it.

Step 2:

Upon entering the new interface, we proceed to select the usage mode.

Emotional mode : Simply enter a short theme, for example, "Merry Christmas," and the AI ​​will automatically expand the content and create an emotionally charged audio clip.

Storytelling : You input a story idea or theme, and the AI ​​will retell it. The same voice can even play different characters within the story.

Plain text mode : Like other TTS tools, you paste a specific piece of text and the AI ​​will accurately convert it into audio.

Step 3:

Next, we customize the voice and style . You tap on Voice and preview each voice you want to use.

 

Next, choose a style and also listen to the voices for different emotions.

Step 4:

After you've finished setting it up, enter the text you want to convert to speech and wait for the result. Please note that this feature is currently only available for English.
