How to change YouTube interface with NewTube

Step 1:

You install the NewTube utility for Chrome browser according to the link below.

Step 2:

Then, when you access YouTube, you will see the custom interface from the utility. By default, the utility will have a black background interface, but you can change it to your liking. You can change the theme on YouTube by clicking the option as shown. Then click Save and select OK below to save the new interface on YouTube.

As a result, we will see the new interface on YouTube as shown.

Step 3:

When you click on a video on YouTube, you will see the video viewing interface default to a larger screen, along with many other changes.

The corners of the video are rounded. Video customization icons are displayed floatingly and in the center of the video interface.

The video search bar is displayed in transparent mode so as not to affect your viewing of YouTube videos.

Step 4:

When you click on the star icon on the right side, the interface as shown will display more setting options:

1. Extensions settings: You can disable extension features or transparent background effects.
2. Themes: Select theme to reselect the theme, browse and install themes from the Theme Store or import and export your own themes at Import/Export Style.
3. Video: Adjust the roundness at the corners of the video, toggle title movement in the center, automatic playback in theater viewing mode, etc.
4. Remove black bars on video: Hide the top and bottom black bars in the video player
5. Subtitles/Captions: Adjust color, text size,. for subtitles.
6. Background: Adjust colors and add background images to the interface.
7. Animations: Turn on effects when turning pages.
