How to use visual effects in Snapchat

Step 1:

First you need to check if the filter is enabled. At the movie screen, click on the Snapchat white ghost icon . Next click the gear icon .

Step 2:

In the Settings menu interface , select Manage then at Filters , turn the horizontal bar to the right to turn on the mode .

Note , some filters require location access.

1. With iOS device, we go to Settings> Privacy, select Location Services and turn on (ON) Location Services .
2. With Android device, we open Settings and select Location and activate in the menu.

So after returning to Filters section, the application will ask if you allow the location. Click OK and Allow to allow.

Step 4:

We return to the photography and video interface. Press the middle button to capture, and hold to record movies. After you're done taking pictures, swipe the image left or right to try different filters . With video there will be more filters than images.

The application has a lot of filters to choose from:

1. Geofilters (Geographic Filter): this first filter list is based on your current location.

3. Insert text when taking photos, recording videos:

Step 1:

After taking a picture or recording a video, press the center key and then the keyboard will appear to enter text . The text will be added right in the middle of the frame.

1. The letter T on the top of the screen to activate the text effect.
2. Tap the T icon once to enlarge the text.
3. Tap the second T icon to align the text as the middle of the page.
4. Tap the third T icon to return to the beginning.

Step 2:

To change the color for the text, we touch the text, the color palette and the keyboard will appear. Choose a color to change the text, press Done, press Enter or touch the screen.

If you want to color a part of the text, select the letter or word to fill it with, then select the color palette to change the color for the letter or word.

4. Add stickers and emoticons:

Step 1:

Immediately after taking a picture, recording the video, then press the icon of the paste next to the letter T on the top of the screen. Immediately after that , there will be an icon and stickers to choose from.

Step 2:

Swipe up and down to select another image, drag right to select different stickers. Touch the icon and change the location. Touch 2 fingers to zoom in, rotate right or rotate left.

5. Using drawing features:

Step 1:

In the captured image, touch the pen icon . Select the palette and touch the screen to draw.

Step 2:

After the drawing is not satisfied, you can use the rotating arrow to cancel , return to the previous stroke.

To change the color, just drag up or down on the color bar on the screen.
