How to save mobile data when using your favorite social networking applications?

However, the Facebook application has a setting that saves you valuable data called Data Saver . When you enable this setting, Facebook will compress the images that appear on your timeline. In addition, it will stop any videos that are playing automatically. This will help you reduce the amount of unnecessary storage when using Facebook. Fortunately, this installation is easy to find.
Open the Facebook application and look at the top right corner of the screen. You will see 3 stacked dash icons, click on it to open the Facebook menu. You will see many different settings. Scroll down, find Data Saver and click it.
You will see a Data Saver On option displayed. When you enable this feature, another option will appear as Always Turn Off Data Saver on WiFi. This option will be enabled by default. If you are using Wi-Fi and have a data meter, you can disable this option.
Instagram is also one of those applications that consume data. To save mobile data, activate the Instagram app and open your profile.
From here, you need to navigate to the Options menu by clicking the jagged icon (on some devices, you will see a 3 dot vertical symbol). Scroll down until you see the Mobile / Cellular Data Use option . Click on it and another screen will appear with the Use Less Data option . Click it to finish.
Note: This feature is enabled only when you use mobile data. This means that when you connect to Wi-Fi, the Use Less Data feature will be disabled.
Snapchat
To save data on Snapchat, you need to enable the Traver Mode option in this application. This will prevent Snap from automatically downloading images.
To activate this feature, open the Snapchat app, click the jagged icon in the top right corner. This will take you to the Settings menu . Scroll down until you see Additional Services . In this section, click Manage . This will open the Travel Mode option. Click it to activate.
