How to use password management Lockbox in Firefox Quantum
If you want to search for Firefox's account password management utility Quantum , we can use the Lockbox utility.
By default, in current browsers such as Google Chrome or Firefox, there are built-in password saving and management features. Users can easily review account information including saved passwords, in the Settings section on each browser. Thus, we will not have to remember any account information of any website
However, when saving passwords available on such browsers will create security risks, such as hacking Facebook accounts, especially when using a computer in a public environment or using a computer with many people. So the Lockbox utility will help you to save your account password, and you can secure that personal information when setting up the utility master password. How to set the Lockbox utility to save the website pass on Firefox
Step 1:
The Lockbox utility is currently only used in the Firefox Test Pilot program to test new features or tools. However, to install the Lockbox utility, we can also use some of the ways below.
You can go to the link below and click Install Lockbox button to install the utility.

Or you can access the link below, then click on the signed-addon.xpi link, then drag and drop signed-addon.xpi file into the browser window to proceed with the installation.

Note to users , the current version of the Lockbox utility will only be compatible with Firefox 57. Older versions will not work.
Step 2:
Click the Allow button to agree to the installation utility on the browser via 3rd party tools.
Finally click Add to install the Lockbox utility on your browser.
If the installation is successful, we will see the Lockbox icon at the bottom of the Toolbar on the browser as shown below.
Step 3:
Next click on the utility icon to access the password management interface. First of all, you need to enter the master password for the utility at the bar Please create a master password below . Click Continue to Lockbox .
Note to readers , Lockbox password will not be changed when set. If you forget to open Lockbox password or want to change this password, you must remove the Lockbox utility and then reinstall it. So create a password that you can remember clearly.
Step 4:
Appear interface to enter account information on Lockbox. Here click the New entry button to create an entry containing the account information you want to protect.
Enter the required information in the Create a New Entry interface, including Entry name (website name, account service), Websites Address (website address), Username (account name), Password (password) password), Notes (notes). Then press the Save entry button to save the information.
Step 5:
Once you have finished entering the information, you will see your account appear under the Entry frame, along with the interface next to it, which is all information about that account. If you save multiple accounts on Lockbox, you can enter search keywords in the Search for an entry box.
If you want to change any information click Edit Entry, or to delete the saved account click Delete Entry.
We continue with the remaining personal accounts.
Step 6:
When the user exits Firefox browser Quantum, the Lockbox utility will automatically close. Now open Firefox browser and click on the Lockbox utility icon that will ask the user to enter the password.
Enter the password of Lockbox and then press Unlock to unlock the utility and view the saved account information.
So, using the Lockbox utility in Firefox Quantum, we can secure all website account login information in the browser. Other people have to know the Lockbox master password to open the utility, then view the website accounts you have saved.
