How to show the website icon on Safari for iPhone, iPad and Mac
With macOS Mojave and iOS 12, users can view website icons (favicon) on Safari tabs of iPhone, iPad and macOS. Although the interface is not nice, but the favicon will help you find tabs more easily and quickly (especially for those who open multiple tabs at once).
By default, this option will be turned off on both MacOS and iOS operating systems. So to use it, you have to turn it on manually. Here's how to turn on the web icon in Safari.

What is Favicons?
Favicon is a small icon that appears on tabs of most popular web browsers like Firefox and Google Chrome. However, up to now, you can only view favicon in Safari if the tab you are using is pinned. The favicon is a useful way to quickly find tabs, instead of having to read its name (the name of the tab may be hidden, if you have too many tabs open). Finally Safari has a full view of the Favicon icons on tabs.
