How to remove virus logoff?
This is a virus that makes your system 'log off' when you 'log in'. You cannot 'log in' to your system and all your work must be postponed there. So how to remove this virus like?
When this virus attacks your system, it will create a file userinit.exe in C: Windowssystem32 and this file will automatically run when Windows starts.
Step 1:
Insert the boot CD (Hiren Boot, Windows XP, Ubuntu, .) and boot the system from the CD.
Step 2:
In DOS mode, type:
cd c: windowssystem32
cp userinit.exe virus.exe
In Ubuntu: you have two options:
1. In the command line, type: mv media {partition name} system32userinit.exe media {partition name} system32virus.exe
2. In Gnome or KDE mode, use file manager and rename or transfer the file userinit.exe to another folder.
Then restart the system and remove the file virus.exe
Step 3:
Log in to the system and use an antivirus program to scan the system.
