How to remove the Bing Chat icon on Microsoft Edge

Currently, most people can experience Bing Chat on Microsoft Edge on computers and Bing Chat on Edge phones, with many different benefits. And the Bing engine has added a Explore icon on the browser to expand the features of using Bing tools. However, many people do not like to use this Bing Chat Discover tool. Instructions to remove Bing Chat Discover icon on Edge

The Bing Chat Explore icon is displayed on the interface in the corner as shown below.

Step 1:

First, at the interface on your computer, enter the registry keyword in the search bar and then click on the Registry Editor result displayed below.

 

Step 2:

Next, the user accesses the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoft on the computer.

Step 3:

Next, look at the empty interface on the side, right-click and select New > Key .

We will then name the new folder Edge .

 

Step 4:

In the newly created Edge sub-folder, users click on the white interface next to it, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value in the displayed list.

We will then name this value HubsSidebarEnabled .

Step 5:

Right-click on the newly created value and select Modify and then enter 0 in the Value line. Click OK to save the new changes.

Step 6:

Access the Edge browser at edge://policy and then click Reload policy to apply the changes to your Edge browser. The resulting Bing Chat icon has been hidden from your browser.

In case the user wants to display this Bing Chat icon again, just delete the newly created value in the Edge folder as above. Next also need to reload the policy on the edge.
