How to remove calluses on limbs
What are calluses on the hands and feet?
A bottle is an area of keratinized skin, caused by many dead cells. When the right foot and hand rub a lot and often into an object, the bottles will appear at the point of contact. At hand, the perpetrator of the bottle is usually a pen and a motorbike handlebar.
In the feet, it is usually the shoe, or it's the bone of the toes pressed against each other when wearing shoes that create calluses. In this case the bottle is located between the two toes. In rare cases, they can lead to a number of other foot infections.
How to remove calluses on limbs simple but effective
Brine
Soak your hands in warm salt water for 10-15 minutes, then use loofah to scrub the bottles if they're too hard. Wash your hands with clean water and apply moisturizer.
Doing this 3-4 times / week will help remove calluses in the palm of the hand, feet to help the hands and feet become softer.
Soak limbs or elbows in warm / hot water for 10 minutes
The skin will start to soften. Although not required, you can add Epsom salts, bath oils, and even tea to the water if you like.
Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar if the calluses are too thick and hard. Warning: do not add vinegar if you have diabetes or poor circulation.
Apply onions to calluses
According to popular experience, grating onions and applying them to calluses will make the area softer, calluses will peel. Apply onions and get a clean cloth, or bandage at night.
Use lemon
Take a thin slice of freshly squeezed lemon and rub it all over your hands. Massage gently for 1-2 minutes then rinse with warm water. The dead cells and bacteria on the skin will be quickly cleaned, giving you smooth and soft hands.
Use papaya
Apply papaya pulp or juice to the rough skin for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, massage the area and rinse with warm water. This will help the skin feel much softer.
Use pineapple
Pineapple peel contains some enzymes that help soften calluses and are easy to remove. Apply a small piece of fresh pineapple peel to the callused skin, then wrap a clean towel around and leave overnight. Repeat this method every night and for 1 week. You can also apply pineapple juice on calluses.
Use pumice stone or rub your feet to call for calluses
Be sure to periodically clean your pumice stone or foot file. You should not rub too much on your hands / feet. 5 minutes of rubbing is enough. You can slowly remove calluses within about 1 month. If you feel pain and you have loose skin, stop.
Use Aspirin to soften calluses
Crush 5-6 tablets of Aspirin, then mix with half a teaspoon (3 g) of lemon juice and water. Apply the paste on the callused skin, then wrap a warm towel or cover with a plastic bag. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, then open the plastic towel / bag. Use pumice stone to rub calluses.
Again, people with diabetes should not try this therapy. In addition, you should not use this therapy if you are allergic to aspirin.
