Foxit Reader is a lightweight, fast, and popular PDF reader. If you encounter difficulties installing it, this article will provide detailed instructions to help you use it easily.

Instructions for installing and using Foxit Reader

Step 1 : Download the software to your computer

Once the file download is complete, open the file > click Next to proceed to the next step.

After clicking Next > Check the box  "I accept terms in the license agreement" > click Next .

Step 2 : In the new window, the system will switch to the section for customizing the software's storage path. You can customize the software's storage location by clicking Browse. After you have finished customizing, you can click Next to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: After clicking Next, the system will move to the section allowing you to install the software. There are two installation modes: Full installation and Custom installation.

Full installation is a complete installation mode. This mode will install all the software's features onto your computer. We recommend choosing this installation mode.

Custom Installation is a mode for customizing settings. This mode allows you to add or remove unnecessary features.
After making your selections, click Next to proceed to the next step.

After selecting the appropriate settings, click Next to move to the next section.

After clicking Next, the system switches to another window. This window provides users with the option to edit several other customizations, such as creating an icon on the Desktop, creating an icon in Quick Launch, or choosing to make the software the official software for opening PDF documents.

After you have finished customizing, click Next to move to the fourth step.

Step 4: At this step, the system briefly informs the user of the settings made in the previous steps. Additionally, the system asks the user to confirm the installation process again.
To proceed with the installation, click the Install button .

After clicking Install , the system will automatically extract and install the software onto your computer.

Step 5: After the installation process is complete, the installation system will notify you with a new window that the installation was successful. To complete the installation, click the Finish button.
