How to give nicknames to friends on Instagram

The new Instagram has a feature to set nicknames for friends in messages, change the nicknames for friends that you like instead of Instagram account names. So along with the feature to set nicknames for friends in Messenger, with Instagram users can completely change to have more interesting chats. Below are instructions for setting nicknames for friends on Instagram.

How to give nicknames to friends on Instagram

Step 1:

You access the Instagram chat group and then you will see a notification about the feature of setting nicknames for friends and you in the chat. Click Try Now to proceed. The notification about the feature of setting nicknames appears, click OK to perform.

Step 2:

Show members in the Instagram chat group. You click on the member to set a nickname for them. We enter the nickname for friends in the box, you can add an icon if you want.

Finally, tap Done in the top right corner to save the nickname for your Instagram friends.

Step 3:

Next we set an Instagram nickname for ourselves if you want as usual.

The result of the Instagram chat was that all members were nicknamed as shown below and everyone in the Instagram chat group could see this nickname.

Step 4:

Return to the chat on Instagram, now you will see a notification showing the nickname setting . To customize the mode or change to another nickname, click on the Instagram chat group name , or the member name above. Next, click on the Nickname to change it again.

Step 5:

Users can change nicknames for friends on Instagram if they want, or change who can change Instagram nicknames . Here you choose who can set nicknames in Instagram.
