Downloading a Repo From GitHub on the Web

Navigate to GitHub. You can also type http://www.github.com into your browsers address bar. -
Navigate to the repo you want to download or clone. -
Click the green Clone or Download button on the right. -
Click the Download ZIP button. This will download the repo to your computer as a .Zip file.

Downloading a Repo in GitHub Desktop

Navigate to GitHub. You can also type http://www.github.com into your browsers address bar. -
Navigate to the repo you want to download or clone. -
Click the green Clone or Download button on the right. -
Click the Open in Desktop button. This will open the GitHub Desktop app.- If it is your first time opening a file in GitHub Desktop from your browser, you might be asked to grant permission to your computer to open the file in GitHub Desktop.

Click the blue Clone button in GitHub Desktop. This will begin the download of the repo to your computer. -
Click the Show In Finder button to open the repo in Finder.
