Free application that helps you manage your Macbook battery more effectively

Battery Toolkit is the best free app I've found for MacBook battery management.

Macbooks have a few built-in features to ensure battery life. The device will automatically shut down when it overheats because high temperatures reduce battery life and performance. Additionally, your MacBook will also charge more slowly when the battery reaches 80% if it thinks you don't need a full charge. While these features are good enough for most people, there are a number of battery management apps that give you better control over your MacBook's battery health.

Battery Toolkit is the best free app I've found for MacBook battery management. It allows you to keep your MacBook battery at a charge level between two preset values, helping to prevent overcharging the battery.

Also stops charging MacBook even when plugged in. Force MacBook to charge to 100% (this feature is usually paid on top of other apps).

These battery management features are especially useful for people who frequently use their MacBook while plugged in. Many people use MacBooks in closed mode, connected to a separate screen, keyboard and mouse. In this case, plugging and unplugging multiple times to avoid overcharging the battery is quite inconvenient. The Battery Toolkit application will help you manage this automatically.
