Error handling when running the Wireless Network Setup Wizard after updating Windows XP SP2
Both Wireless Network Setup Wizard and View Available Wireless Networks rely on the Wireless Zero Configuration service to provide functionality for them in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Microsoft Windows XP Table PC Edition 2005. If the Wireless Zero Configuration service Inactive, you will receive an error message and error handling that is the purpose of this article.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic , and then click Apply .
4. In the Service status area, click Start and finally OK
